Closeness to old town Savannah
ground floor rooms had ants everywhere.... they moved us immediately to a better room.
Was suppose to be strictly non smoking but smelled terrible. And was furnished with ash trays. Had a Mexican bar three doors down from my room. Loud music/noise.will not stay there again or recommend to others.
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The surroundings (even though we were by a night club) was still extremely quiet and we didn't have to worry about vandelism or anything. The area was well patrolled. Another plus for us was that no pets are allowed was posted in the lobby and on the website before booking.
Everything was very much to satisfaction considering the price we paid for two nights:)
I managed to stay alive through out the night. This was definatly a positive thing.
Beds were hard, pillows were flat, ac didnt get cold, one light switch controlled every plug and light in the room. Tv was tiny and the remote didnt control the tv.
The price is right
This particular location, the cards that open the doors almost never work. They have to be slid mutliple times before the door will open. Not that big of a deal, but a bit of an annoyance.
The location was great for us. It was less than 15 minutes from the historic district/Riverwalk. The room was clean, air conditioner was cold, free wi- fi. I would stay here again.
Would of been nice if they had a continental breakfast but we found resta urants just minutes away from the hotel. No ironing board in room but there was some at the office. I didn't need one but bring a hairdryer if you need one.
The price, the staff were friendly, comfortable bed, good tv and internet
Distance from town, lack of food nearby, on busy highway so difficult to cross road for bus etc. Lots of wildlife.
Clean and comfortable;good location as far as getting to surroundings.
Receptionist not very welcoming. They were talking to each other and made us feel we we interupting their conversation. There was no pool,no coffee maker or hair dryer in the room.Ice was fifty cents.I Know thats only fifty cents but come on.I'm not mad at anyone but myself for not asking more questions before booking.Anyway it was very clean and a comfortable place to sleep and take a good shower or bath.
The price was outstanding.
No hair dryer. The wash cloths were very rough as well as the towels.
Easy check in/out. air con worked good, clean room,
slightly strange smell in room,
Comfort of the room
Staff not very friendly (certainly due to the fact that an car accident occured just front to the hotel 30 min before we arrive), but still.... Credit-Card charged before check-in (we arrived there at 10:00pm !!) Check-out made by an eight-year-old boy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a ten minute drive from downtown Savannah so the location was very convenient. It definitely beats paying 150 bucks a night on one of the hotels downtown. The room was okay.
The bathtub wasn't perfectly clean, but it wasn't dirty or anything.
It lived up to the reputation of other visitors. It was clean and comfortable. When we arrived, we thought we were a long way from the historic district, but it really was just a few minutes in the car (almost quicker than walking from one of the hotels on the outer limits of the historic centre itself!). It had almost everything we needed for our trip: Wi-Fi, Parking, fridge - great!
The only thing missing was tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
It was a very convenient and inexpensive place to stay while I visited Savannah.
Wifi was a slow but it was not that big of a complaint for me.
The woman working was very friendly and helpful, and the room felt good and private.
The bathroom was mediocre. The cleanliness was lacking, and the shower head was very low quality. The pressure was good, but the water came in such small streams that it was like being stabbed with needles. I know it sounds trivial, but it was very unpleasant.
